Striped Ruffled Sweater
Ruffled Striped Sweater (Gray is sold out, but the lilac color is perfect for Spring!)
Hello everyone, Happy February! I am so happy to finally launch my blog and to have you here. First, I want to give a little background on the name. A kaleidoscope is often denoted as a child's toy, but the name is derived from Ancient Greek words meaning observations of beautiful forms. Kristine's Kaleidoscope is all about seeing fashion through my eyes and embracing the double entendre of keeping my styles fun and youthful, yet sophisticated and elegant.
Gray, white, and a little bit of pink, what's not to love about this color combination?! I absolutely love ruffles and was extremely excited when I received this gray and white striped sweater in the mail last week; it will go with anything! I wore it this past weekend to brunch at Hugo's and it kept me cozy and warm. The white on this sweater is actually an off white, so the stripes match perfectly with my jeans. I have yet to find my favorite brand of jeans, but Zara jeans are the top of the totem pole right now. Their jeans are always in style with unfinished hems, rips and the perfect colors AND they are a great price. I prefer white jeans over denim, so you'll see me wearing them often!
I bought the Rebecca Minkoff Avery Tote and ASOS heels last February. The tote is the largest purse I have and it's perfect. I can fit my planner, a water bottle, snacks and more inside! The Tory Burch purse I linked up also seems to be a large size and should hold about the same amount. My BaubleBar necklace and earrings can be worn year-round. I wore them with my Christmas outfit, but they are also perfect for Spring time!
If you have any questions about my outfit or myself in general, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I hope you've enjoyed my very first post; I look forward to reading your comments! Happy Hump Day :)
