Happy happy Monday!! This is going to be a great and short week! If you aren't following me on Insta, Aria and I have been in Cancun since Friday. Unfortunately we leave paradise later this evening, but we've had a great time and I highly recommend staying at Le Blanc Spa and Resort if you get the opportunity. I'll do a full review on the resort later this week, but I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! For today's post I'll be sharing one outfit and our experience at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Chichén Itzá. But first, I apologize for my blogging hiatus. I have been extremely busy and have also had a lot going on with my life. Thankfully, things have settled down a bit and I can get back into blogging.

Pom poms + tassels all day, everyday✌🏼 I've been waiting to wear this adorable off the shoulder tassel top and it is perfect for a tropical vacation. It's flowy, which means you can chow down, have a food baby and no one could ever tell! I also love the vibrant tassels that add a playful touch. My denim shorts are a bit pricey but worth every penny. When I saw them online, I thought they had just the right amount of distressing and were the perfect color. These did not disappoint upon arrival; I originally thought they had a zipper, turns out it's all buttons, but that's not a big deal to me at all. They fit better than any other denim shorts I've had and I want another pair!

My straw bag is very cute with the pink detailing and pom/tassel addition, but honestly it's not very comfortable. Now that could be due to my terrible decision of buying tanning spray with SPF 8, so the bag was irritating my sunburn. Although, some of the straw did come off. I love this pom panama hat; I was a little unsure with the yarn, but it ties in very well with the poms. It's the only hat I brought with me on this trip, so I've been wearing it everyday!

It's always a dream to find cute statement earrings that aren't super heavy. These pom pom earrings pass the test; they are so lightweight! I've had my Jack Rogers sandals for a few years now and they go with any outfit. I've worn the heck out of them and I am surprised the sandals haven't fallen apart yet. Goes to show they're great quality!

Chichén Itzá was very exhausting since it was a full day affair (12 hour trip in total), but it was very cool to have seen one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was supposed to rain all day, but luckily it didn't start to rain until our way back to Le Blanc. There were tons of people with tables trying to sell little knick knacks as we were walking through the Mayan Ruins, but our tour guides told us not to buy anything silver or wood from them, since the silver will turn your skin green and the wood is most likely infested with termites. I was surprised that they told us that, but really glad that they did. Everything that was being sold was only one dollar, so it was very tempting!

As you can tell, I am extremely sun burnt. I've been applying aloe vera but it hasn't worked on my chest and shoulder area, so if anyone has any tips I would greatly appreciate them! :) Sorry for those of you who have to go to work today, but I'll be enjoying my last day at the spa. Have a great Monday!
