My morning blog posts haven't gone quite as planned. We went out for dinner last night for Aria's actual birthday at Killens STQ (very good) then I took Benjy to the park when we got home. We were at the park for about an hour and from all the rain we've been having Benjy was really muddy and gross so I had to give him a bath before going back inside. It was a little after 8 when I got back in and at that time I still needed to do my cardio for day two of BBG so I changed from my Hunters into my tennis shoes. I got back from the gym around 9 and still had to shower, by the time I got done with everything I was just too exhausted to write my post. I know, excuses excuses, but at least I've been more consistent posting on MWF!

I love the simplicity of this shirt dress, yet the details of the ruffled hems, embroidery and the collar gives it some oomph! When I saw this dress on ASOS I knew I had to have it, but it's a little pricey for my usual purchases. In the end I decided to go ahead and purchase it (obviously) and am so glad I did! It's dressy but not too over the top which is what I was going for. I got many compliments on this dress when I wore it, I believe the detailing is what makes people love it. It kinda has the night gown vibe but add some heels like I did and you'll be rocking it!

VIP Galleria VI Influencer Event

A special thanks to DPWPR for inviting me to this exclusive event! Honestly this was the coolest party/event I've attended thus far. The swag was amazing- free Lacoste polo that I got for Aria, a Coach luggage tag with free monogram of whatever I wanted, a Peter Lik (amazing photographer) coffee table book and a couple of other small things! Not only was the swag great but I enjoyed being one of the first to view the new wing. There are so many great stores- Saks, Kate Spade, Cole Haan, Ted Baker and Sam Edelman just to name a few! During the event there were also models showcasing a few looks from each of the stores, I really enjoyed it!

These are some of the bloggers I've gotten really close to and have been so happy to meet them! Millie is in the gingham and she's only 14 years old😳 Can y'all believe it?! I can't! But I am so happy that she has already found her passion and striving to be the best she can at it. Alisee is in the pink and she's from France! I love the way she speaks and she has the kindest heart. Lastly is Haley on the end; I've probably connected with her the most. She is the sweetest person-always willing to help anyone out and we are each others accountability for the BBG workout program! We just started on Monday so we'll see if we can stick to the 12 weeks😅 I linked their blog websites to their names above, so go check their blogs out!

I've ate at Yuatcha previously, but their patisserie is absolutely delicious! My favorite from these were the lavender and lemon one which is weird because I thought I didn't really like lemon desserts, but this was so good! The setup Yuatcha had at the event was also very creative with the background made out of the steamer containers (don't know the proper name for them) and I loved how they had the two girls dressed up!

Overall this was an awesome event and I feel so lucky I got to attend all thanks to DPWPR! I even got featured in three different articles, check them out here, here & here! I'm basically famous! LOL JK!! But I can't wait to attend many events like this in the future! Hope y'all are having a great week so far!
