Lace Off the Shoulder Dress
Happy first day of Spring!! I am so excited it is finallly Spring, that means it's officially acceptable to wear pastels and light florals! This is probably my favorite season to dress for because I love the soft hues. It's also Persian New Year today, so Aria and I went and celebrated at his parents for dinner last night.
Isn't this dress just absolutely darling?? I bought it this weekend at Francesca's and it comes in three different colors - white, pink and blue. It is perfect for Spring and can be worn for several occasions. If you're a guest to a Spring wedding, this dress in the blue or pink color would be perfect! It comes with removable spaghetti straps, which I obviously removed, but the dress is adorable with or without them. The lace detailing, especially on the sleeves, is my favorite part to this little white dress. If you haven't bought these block heels, I highly recommend you do so! They go with everything and are 20% off at Nordstrom!
I wore this outfit to brunch this past Saturday to B&B Butcher where I met with fellow Houston bloggers. This was my first time there and the food was delicious and the staff accommodated us extremely well. We ate on the patio which has an excellent view of downtown and is very spacious. With the great weather we had this weekend, the patio was packed. My favorite thing I ate there would be the tuna tartare, hands down! The bottom part is avocado then in the middle it has something that gives your bite a little crunch, SO good!
Aside from the restaurant, I had a great time meeting with fellow bloggers. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful to my newbie self! It's the greatest feeling connecting with others who are going through the exact same thing, because they completely understand and give their insight. These ladies were inspiring and I can't wait to get together again and collaborate in the future. I recommend following and reading their blogs as well!
