Happy Tuesday! Yesterday was pretty busy for me and today will probably be the same, there's just so much going on during Spring! I've also gotta implement Spring cleaning, I've been slacking lately and I feel like I do better in a clean workspace. On the bright side, we've had such great weather lately and I'm totally loving it.
I've mentioned previously my love for the color combination pink and blue and now that its officially Spring I can wear it all the time! I've had this top since January but had been waiting to wear it, I debuted it yesterday for the first day of Spring! As much as I love off the shoulder pieces, I prefer buying cold shoulder tops/dresses, since I do have a day job and those are appropriate for work, rather than off the shoulder ones. I purchased my skirt from Loft last Spring, so unfortunately it's not in stock anymore. This is one of my favorite skirts I own, because it incorporates several things I love - pink, scalloped and laser cut! I've linked up the most similar options I could find.
Roost Restaurant
Aria and I tried out Roost this past weekend. Honestly, I was disappointed in it, but I think that's only because I wasn't aware they regularly change their menu, so the shrimp and grits weren't on the menu, which is what I wanted to order. There wasn't anything that I didn't like and Aria really enjoyed everything. My favorites were the avocado shrimp toast and the bread pudding😋 The tables are pretty close by each other and we had older couples on both sides that we made friends with. I recommend getting the bread service, we didn't order it since I felt like we've been eating too much bread lately, but the couple to my left let us have some of theirs and it was delicious! We had an enjoyable night overall.
